MEET OUR SALVATOR TEAM
DOMINIK GERZA - general manager
I am one of the founders of the Salvator team. After the crucial year of 1989, the borders were opened and interest in Prague
stays was huge, but hotel capacity was limited. I gradually made my way through accommodation in apartments or private rooms
to accommodation services of a hotel type. Through the everyday world of hospitality – welcoming guests, making them familiar
with the city and cleaning – I learnt to discern the needs of Prague visitors. Introducing the city and hospitality – this is my primary
task during the working day.
Why should guests choose Hotel Salvator for their stay in Prague?
Thanks to its location, Hotel Salvator is a great starting point to set out and discover Prague. The building has retained its original character, including the rustic La Boca restaurant, which offers an attractive alternative to the modern, high-capacity hotels
(owned by international corporations) in the centre of Prague.
What is the most beautiful place in Prague?
The Passage Ungelt, just a short walk from our hotel, and the surroundings of the St. James church, are magical places where Franz
Kafka walked to school in Masná Street. The historical appeal is not compromised even by the high number of tourists in this area.
STANA DOBRA - sales manager
I have been part of the team since 1998 when the hotel grew from the original ten rooms to 20. Following a recommendation
from a friend who had been working in the hotel, I started as a fresh graduate of the Hotel School as the day receptionist.
I have come a long way with Salvator. Hotel Salvator ranks among the most popular Prague hotels. We have expanded
and added the modern Salvator Superior Apartments, and I am very happy to be part of all this. PS: I still enjoy it a lot :-)
Why should guests choose Hotel Salvator for their stay in Prague?
In Hotel Salvator the guests will certainly not find luxury and design accommodation, rather what they will definitely find
is the original environment of a traditional Old Prague gallery access house with a unique atmosphere and individual approach.
Our aim is to “make our guests feel like at home when far from home”.
What is the most beautiful place in Prague?
I love the Vltava riverbank. I like most the section from the Čechův Most bridge up to Náplavka, and it does not matter which side.
The riverbank provides amazing views of Prague’s architecture and a walk along it is an unforgettable experience in any season.
RENATA SKUHROVCOVA - receptionist
I have always enjoyed communicating with people and after my past experience at another, smaller hotel I started working
in this great team of Hotel Salvator in 2004. I like meeting new people and discovering new cultures from all over the world,
something new everyday, and also the work with my colleagues where we help each other so much.
Why should guests choose Hotel Salvator for their stay in Prague?
Hotel Salvator lies in the heart of Prague where everybody will find what they like: beautiful heritage sites but also sports,
shops, clubs and bars. Our family hotel with its beautiful garden and the respected restaurant La Boca remains an oasis of peace.
What is the most beautiful place in Prague?
Petřín is certainly great, especially in the spring and summer when trees are in bloom and you see all the flowers.
It offers a breathtaking view of the whole of Prague and of the Prague Castle particularly.
PAVEL JASEK - chief of transport
The owner of Hotel Salvator has been a friend of mine since childhood. When I got the offer in 1998 to join the Salvator team,
I did not hesitate, because this friend is my guarantee that doing business with him will be all right. What I appreciate about my work
is the opportunity to meet new people from all over the world.
Why should guests choose Hotel Salvator for their stay in Prague?
Hotel Salvator is an original and quiet family hotel in the centre of Prague and stands in contrast to hotel chains where you are just
one customer of many....
What is the most beautiful place in Prague?
I like Vyšehrad most as it offers a high concentration of sights and an amazing view of Prague.
MARTIN LACHKY - concierge
I have been working in the Salvator team since 2011. My first job in VivaPraga was temporary. Since I had enough experience in tourism and the hotel industry, a full-time job was offered to me later. What do I like most about my job? The people – my colleagues and our guests from different parts of the world. With them, I have the opportunity to encounter different cultures and learn new things every day.
Why should guests choose Hotel Salvator for their stay in Prague?
It is primarily the pleasant family atmosphere and of course the location: both Hotel Salvator and the Salvator Superior Apartments
are located in the historical centre of Prague. Our guest greatly appreciate the VivaPraga tourist information centre that is open daily,
not only for our guests but also to all tourists and the general public.
What is the most beautiful place in Prague?
For me Žižkov has a magic of its own: its distinct atmosphere, small and spiral streets with many restaurants and bars, the Riegrovy Sady gardens and the splendid view of the Old Town and the Prague Castle from there.
EVA JURIKOVA - waitress
My way to the LA BOCA restaurant came through a random meeting with a friend who helped open this restaurant. As I feel like
at home here, I am faithful to LA BOCA since 2001.
Why should guests choose Hotel Salvator for their stay in Prague?
Hotel Salvator is unique also thanks to the La Boca restaurant that is integrated into it. The personal ambience of the restaurant
is achieved by its colourful interior, the pleasant (often live) music, nice staff and, of course, the excellent food.
What is the most beautiful place in Prague?
Vyšehrad is my favourite place in Prague. It has a magical, great view of Prague and a relaxed atmosphere.
PETR MISEK - chef
My way to the Salvator team was easy thanks to my experience: a colleague recommended me. I have been working in this family business since 2007. I am grateful for the opportunity to improve in my field and learn new things.
Why should guests choose Hotel Salvator for their stay in Prague?
The presence of authenticity and Spanish and South American cuisine in the very heart of Prague are the biggest attractions
of Hotel Salvator.
What is the most beautiful place in Prague?
The Petřín watchtower is a place where I am able to forget about my everyday cares. “Nature regenerates” is something that really holds true here.
